Hi there.
I need some help in finding some hydraulic arms small enough to fit in a computer case (like the same size as you get in some items of furniture).
If anyone can tell me where to find them or has a better suggestion that will be good for opening a case up please let me know.
Thanks a lot
(sorry if this is in the wrong place)
i assume you actaully want small gas springs that as in to lift the boot of a hatch back car? try R.S components. you can search there extensive catalouge on line.

I bought a new clear computer case. How would I transfer all of the parts into it. Are there any websites that give steps? Anything I need before I start? Thanks!
An anti-static wrist strap is useful as the components are static sensitive.
Remove all the hardware from the old case carefully. You will not need to remove the CPU or memory from the motherboard.
Make sure the motherboard standoffs in your new case relate to the screw holes on the board and that none are under it obstructing the fitting (or causing a short!)
Wire up your PC switch, power LED’s as laid out on the motherboard.
As it is a clear case,it might be worth investing in an aerosol air duster (Maplins) to clean off all the parts. A light brush will remove the stubborn stuff.
Switch on the machine BEFORE putting on the side panel just to blow away any dust that may end up stuck to the clear panel.
Just a few tips that might save you some grief
Good Luck

I want to find out how to make these lights flash to the beat of a song like some of he people can on youtube with the use of some software. Can some one please tell me how to make this happen or what programs to use.
Can’t be done easily.

Well i need a computer case and psu for under $40 total. At least a 350 watt psu and it must be 40 dollars max including shipping.I got a new Micro ATX and i need a case for it. Some mid tower cases are usable for micro ATX just check the compatibility. Thank you.
Dream on. You will never find a good case with a good PSU for $40 or less shipped, period. A good PSU alone will cost you at least that much, and the PSU is one of the last things you want to skimp on.

This is my first time building a computer. I’m buying the products from Newegg.com. How can I figure out what motherboard to get for my case. Is there a way to see what case goes with what motherboard?
I looked at the pictures of the motherboard and the case and the ports don’t seem to fit. Is it just me, or is there something more to that.
There is many different kinds of ATX cases how do I know which to choose?
all atx motherboards will fit in atx cases, micro-atx will fit in a micro-atx or an atx case, and a btx will fit in a btx case
the motherboard should come with a custom "port plate," so don’t worry if the plate that comes with the case doesn’t fit your motherboard.
